About

The Job Training and Economic Development (JTED) program helps young people become independent by offering training, work-based learning, and real-world work experiences to help them reach their full potential in future jobs. The program focuses on understanding individuals’ skills, career interests, and goals, advocating for necessary support, and developing interpersonal skills. Participants, particularly young people, get personalized help from JTED staff. They explore careers, assess their skills, and create a personalized career plan. The program provides on-site job training and coaching to improve work ethics and social skills. JTED staff also build relationships with local businesses to help participants find employment.
