Ginger Mills

Ginger became our Director of Advancement in May 2019, leveraging two decades of for-profit sales and marketing experience. She spearheads marketing, public relations and fundraising efforts, prioritizing supporter relationships and advancing our mission of healing and hope. Ginger, an alumna of Simpson College, and her husband Marc live in Savoy.

Brooke Watson

Brooke, our Associate Director of Advancement since June 2019, brings expertise in revenue generation and brand awareness from collegiate athletics. She directs community and donor relations strategies and activities. A University of Illinois graduate, Brooke enjoys family time and farming with her husband Chauncey in DeKalb.

Tim Manard

Tim became Development Officer in March 2016, bringing with him 35 years of experience with the Boy Scouts of America. At Cunningham, Tim fosters enduring relationships with individuals and organizations. He oversees The Cedars Society and Guardian Parent Giving programs, A University of Iowa graduate, he is active in church leadership and enjoys family time.

Erin Gilligan

Erin joined our team in 2013 as Advancement Assistant, becoming Development Specialist in 2019. She oversees gift processing, financial reporting and donor data analysis, managing Raiser’s Edge software and providing staff training. With nonprofit experience, Erin graduated from Lewis University and is active in the Champaign-Urbana Junior Women’s Club.

Tina Dechausay

Tina , our Marketing and Communications Specialist since December 2016, directs marketing and communication strategies for fundraising and public relations. With over 20 years of experience in collegiate athletic programs, she excels in creative marketing and effective communication. A Bradley University graduate, she and her husband Marlon, a collegiate athletics administrator, reside in Memphis with their two sons.

Colleen Combes


Colleen, Event and Volunteer Specialist since October 2019, manages signature fundraising events and volunteer coordination. With over 12 years of experience in marketing and sales, she excels in effectively communicating organizational missions and fostering community engagement. Colleen, a University of Illinois Springfield graduate, enjoys biking, gardening, the arts and spending time with her husband and two children.

Maddy Pierce

Maddy, our Advancement Assistant since April of 2021, thrives in her role with her strong work ethic and organizational skills. Her efficiency and attention to detail make her adept at multitasking, communication, and problem-solving. A devoted mother to daughter, Isabelle, she enjoys the beach with friends and family and reading a good book.
