We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who participated in the inaugural Illini Get Pickled Tournament! With over $3,200 raised from the event, we are empowered to bring hope and healing to Cunningham youth and families. Special thanks go to the dedicated team from the Department of Recreation, Sport, and Tourism at Illinois, led by Gavin Christopherson, Carson Bounds, Dr. Michael Raycraft, and Don Block, whose efforts made this event a success. We also express appreciation to our generous sponsors – SuckerPunch, Dick’s House of Sport Champaign, Fan City, and Rally Republic – whose support was instrumental in bringing this event to fruition. With 38 teams competing for division championships and coveted prizes including free SuckerPunch pickles for a year, an Illini paddle from Rally Republic, and a gift card from DICK’S Sporting Goods, the tournament was an exhilarating display of skill and camaraderie. Thank you to everyone involved for making this event a memorable celebration of community and sportsmanship!
