President/Chief Executive Officer Marlin Livingston

This fall, Marlin will celebrate 17 years as President/CEO at Cunningham.

Cunningham Children’s Home has experienced tremendous growth under the direction of Marlin Livingston, who became President/CEO at Cunningham in September 2008. Bringing over 30 years of child welfare experience with him to Cunningham, he served as Executive Director of the Florida Region for Kids Hope United prior to his arrival in Urbana.

Marlin holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Eastern Illinois University. He received the Defense Meritorious Service Medal in 2007 for his service in the Iraq War during his 23 years in the United States Army National Guard.

Marlin has also taught as an adjunct lecturer at the University of Illinois School of Social Work. A native of Illinois, Marlin was born and raised in Charleston and resides in Mahomet with his wife of more than 30 years. They are proud parents of three adult sons and have served as foster parents to over 20 children.
